Breakthru is looking for a Junior UI/UX designer to turn ideas into visually appealing prototypes for the product managers. This job requires you to work alongside a great design mentor, seasoned product managers, and other designers to gather design requirements and prepare design elements and components that are not only functional but visually stunning as well. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for great design and some experience in working with design software, wireframing tools, and producing good designs. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our customer’s needs and help us grow our customer base.

Job Responsibility

  • Help senior UI/UX designers with execution.
  • Be a part of design meetings and present great user experience ideas.
  • Illustrate design ideas using user flows, process flows, and diagrams.
  • Develop clickable UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
  • Come up with original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and directions from senior team members.
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
  • Testing new design ideas before implementing them.

Candidacy Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Xd.
  • Some experience working as UI/UX Designer or a similar role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Good time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field will be an advantage.
